Gareth Bale has reportedly told Real Madrid’s board they must do all they can to sign Liverpool striker Ben Woodburn.
Spanish publication Don Balon claim Bale has warned Madrid they can’t miss out on fellow Welshman Woodburn with Barcelona also said to be considering making a move for him.
Liverpool are unlikely to want to part with their youngest ever goalscorer though with the 17-year-old under contract until 2019.
Earlier this month Woodburn won Liverpool’s Academy Players’ Player of the Season award.
Liverpool and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
That is according to TransferMarketWeb, who claim Roma would be willing to co business for £21million this summer.
Paredes, 22, has made 40 appearances for Roma this season, scoring three goals in the process.
Roma have reportedly slapped a £43million price tag on Liverpool target Mohamed Salah.
Italian outlet Calciomercato claim Liverpool have already contacted Roma about a summer move for the former Chelsea winger.
Roma only spent around £13m to buy the Egypt international last year, but the club’s new sporting director Monchi reportedly will not sell him for anything less than £43m.
Paul Merson has urged Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho to remain at Liverpool this summer.
“You’d like to think so (that he would stay),” he said onSky Sports.
“Coutinho, they’re talking and I’ve heard about Barcelona and things like that. He’s not going to get in the Barcelona team, what’s the point?
“You’re playing at a great football club in Liverpool. It looks like they are going to be in the Champions League if they win this game (against Middlesbrough).
“Where else would you want to play? In my opinion you’re playing at a great club
